Sketching in Dobcross

Last Saturday 10 years ago I joined my brother on an international art trip and drawing side by side in Dobcross
My brother Jack belonged to the Saddleworth group of artists before moving from Grasscroft to Chadderton a few years ago. I live in Australia and that was a very special return trip to join him as I also belong to my local art group.
I have researched my ancestry. Direct Buckley and Mayall ancestors go back in the hamlets of Saddleworth from the 1600’s. I also enjoyed local searching of their graves in St. Chad and St. Ann Lydgate on the same trip.
