Surrey Band Reflects On Whit Friday

A band from Camberley in Surrey has been reflecting on its first-ever visit to the Saddleworth Whit Friday Contests. The Charles Church Camberley Band took part in last month’s events to help mark the start of its 50th year.
There’s an article about their trip along with pictures on the Camberley People website here. The band’s director is quoted praising the “fantastic crowds” and “electric atmosphere” of Whit Friday in Saddleworth.
