The Day After the Fair – Saddleworth Players
The Day After the Fair production starts tonight at the Millgate Arts Centre in Delph and run through to May 27.
Anna, a servant, meets an attractive stranger called Charles, a Barrister from Manchester, at the county fair. Anna, being illiterate, persuades her mistress to carry on a correspondence with him on her behalf, with surprising results.
Booking is now open for this and all other shows in the new season.
They have now teamed up with Delph Library to offer a full box office agency.
The library forms part of Millgate Arts Centre with access facing down King Street (under the clock).
You can call in or telephone at any time during the following hours: Tuesday 2pm-5pm, Wednesday 2pm – 7pm, Thursday – 1pm – 6pm, Friday & Saturday 9:30am -1pm.
The library can accept payment using all major credit and debit cards, or cheques payable to ‘Millgate Arts Centre Limited’. For security reason they are unable to accept cash. Booking Number – 01457 874644.
