Tickets On Sale For Dobcross Centenary Concert
The Platt Lane home of Dobcross Band Club.
Tickets are now available for a special concert marking the centenary of the Dobcross Band Club at its Platt Lane site. The show will be held at Uppermill Civic Hall next month.
The Dobcross Youth Band will open the evening’s entertainment, before a performance by David James and the 16-piece Big Shot Band, playing the classic swing sounds of the likes of Frank Sinatra.
The event takes place on Saturday 8 October, from 7:30pm until late. There’ll be a champagne reception for guests, and the dancefloor will be open to everyone all evening.
Tickets for downstairs at the Civic cost £30, and that includes a food and wine waiter service. Seats in the upper circle cost £15.
To get yours, visit either the band club itself, Dobcross Post Office, The Swan in Dobcross Square, or The Waggon in Uppermill. All profits will be donated to the club.
