Two girls in serious collision with van in Shaw

Saddleworth News understands two girls have been in a serious collision in Shaw.

Shortly before 4.30pm on Tuesday 17 December 2013, police were called to Milnrow Road in Shaw following reports of a collision.

Officers attended and found that two girls had been in collision with a van. Emergency services are currently at the scene and a number of road closures are in place.

There is expected to be significant traffic disruption in the area for the next few hours. Anyone with information should call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4742.
