Uppermill Community Action Network took part the ‘Clean for the Queen’ project day on 23 March around the Brownhill area in the Village.d

They were quite surprised to have collected approximately 30 bags of litter, plus a TV set and car battery, from around the canal and river areas.

Their next project day is on Saturday 9 April when they will be meeting at Limekiln lock at 10.00am.

They will be planting wild flowers which have been received from Kew Gardens as part of the Grow Wild campaign and also tidying up around Limekiln and Dungebooth Locks.

All the equipment UCAN use is provided by the Canal and River Trust.
