Urgent Request For Help With Mossley Fun Day

Help is urgently needed to make sure this Sunday’s fun day in Mossley Park goes ahead as planned. Volunteers are required to assist with the It’s a Knockout event.

According to organiser Cllr Paul Dowthwaite of the Friends of Mossley Park, they’ve been “let down at the last minute” by people who had been due to help. Cllr Dowthwaite added: “We desparately need volunteers to help, for some part, of Sunday between 12 and 4pm. There will be a briefing in the Top Park at 11am on Sunday for anyone who can help.”

Other attractions at the fun day include welly throwing, a tug of war, live music, a barbecue and a hog roast.
