Van wheel gives way on bend
The van blocking one side of the road.
A van has broken down this afternoon on the bend near Greenfield station.
The van ended up blocking one side of the road making it even more difficult for large vehicles to get around. It appears the wheel has collapsed looking at this photo.

I can’t believe no one has commented on all the pot holes that we have to endure every single day. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of my wheels fell off, and it wouldn’t be down to poor maintenance of my van! Our roads are a disgrace.
I am the guilty driver, of all the bends to go on, the wheel collapsed, on a 4 year old van, fiat at their finest!!!! I was lucky enough to have enough speed left to get it as far over to the kerb as I did!! Many thanks to the kind lady at welsh cupcakes who kindly made my partner and I a brew, nice to know a community that cares
