Scooby Doo.

The performers of Infinity Dance certainly get around these days.

Their performances at Hulme’s ‘Party in the Park’, Dobcross School’s Summer Fete, Manchester Day Parade and then recently at Oldham Dance Platform, have certainly kept them busy.

The recent Dance Party raffle at Werneth Cricket Club raised over £100.00 for Banardo’s and was presented to the Charity’s Saddleworth President, Jean Illingworth.

Katie Soliman, who choreographs and teaches children at before and afterschool clubs at a number of venues in Saddleworth and Oldham, is qualified to teach Jazz, Modern, Tap, Ballet, Street and Zumba. “Dance is expressive and also helps to build confidence in young children,” says Katie.

Blame it on the boogie.

“They enjoy the discipline and also the camaraderie a dance group has, especially with performances in the community. It’s wonderful to see children develop through Dance and it’s something I feel so passionate about myself.”
