We know it’s only October BUT …..
The life-sized Uppermill Advent Calendar is starting to wake up and take on a life of its own for a sixth year running.
Each day in December in the lead up to Christmas a beautiful new window will be revealed around the village. With windows created by householders, churches, uniformed organisations and businesses it is like a children’s advent calendar but on a much larger scale.
And here’s your chance to get involved; do you have a window that could decorate to be part of this year’s display? Would you like to join a growing jolly group of householders, businesses and organisations and help make Uppermill sparkle?
Look out for them all round Uppermill from December 1st. There will also be a map that can be downloaded from the website once all of this year’s windows have been finalised. It continues into the new year so it makes for a wonderful post-Christmas walk around the village spotting the brightly and beautifully lit creative windows.
