Christmas cards can be put in your blue bin or no-blo bag. Cards can be cut up, kept in a safe place and used as tags for next years gifts, or used for making future Christmas cards in craft activities for children. Paper and cardboard boxes that toys and other gifts have come in can be kept for children’s craft activities, donated to schools and playgroups, shredded and put in compost bins, or put in your blue bin or no-blo bag. They can also be dropped off at the household waste and recycling centre.
Unwanted gifts and clothes are always very much appreciated by charities. Put them in a water proof bag and take them in to the shop. If left outside they could end up in the wrong hands.
