White goods sought for Bright Futures School’s new premises in Greenfield

The charity Friends of Bright Futures School (FBFS) has been extremely

successful in reaching some of their fundraising goals for equipment

that is needed at the new school building that is currently being

built in Greenfield for Bright Futures School for children with autism

by Robert Scott Ltd.

£9,000 has been raised to fund touchscreen TVs to give the pupils a

more interactive learning experience. £17,000 has been raised to fund

the cost of a state of the art sensory room: a place where pupils can

go when they feel overwhelmed and need some time out to enable them to

re-engage in learning. This includes £600 from the Elvis Tribute night

that took place last Friday at Boarshurst Band Club.

FBFS now has its sights set on raising money for or securing donations

of the following white goods:

Freestanding electric hob with oven

Washing machine

2 x Fridge

Freezer

Dishwasher
