Winnebago are a band of five dudes…sharing a love for all things Alt-Country

Winnebago is a new band that only formed last October but things are going cool.

Winnebago are a band of five dudes based in Manchester and the Yorkshire Hills who formed only 127 days ago, sharing a love for all things Alt-Country. Expect no nonsense Americana Rock N Roll and a sound like Gram Parsons on speed wearing a Nudie Cohn Suit. With two tracks ‘Black Mountain’ and ‘Cheating On Your Heart’ recorded for an upcoming debut 7″ release with seven gigs booked already. Winnebago are gonna export country back to the Americans.

The band  has 2 members from Saddleworth (well Rob from Mossley but lived at Hey top Dovestones for 6 years). They have new music recorded and ready, here’s their first song and video that they put out just last week… it’s called Cheating on your heart

The band have just sold out our up coming gig in Todmorden and there is only a few left for their gig at the Eagle inn in Salford.
Anyhow they have a gig booked for the Railway inn – Greenfield for Saturday May 19 which they have just announced.

Support comes from the wonderful Gdansk81 who are also from these parts .
They are just about to announce gigs in Liverpool and Manchester supporting the amazing Emma Tricca .
