Celebratory Lunch Back After Last Year’s Success
Following the success of last year’s Celebratory lunch, it is back this year. The lunch will be held in celebration of St.Chads Day this Sunday and will start at 1pm at Kilngreen Mission Church, Diggle.
St.Chads Parish includes of three worship centres which are based in and around Uppermill and Diggle. A few hours before the lunch, a Patronal Church service will also be held at St.Chads in Uppermill. This will begin at 11am.
All ages are welcome including families. Light entertainment will be provided during the meal, along with a raffle.
Tickets cost £15 for adults (a glass of wine will be provided upon arrival), and £7.50 for children.

Also taking place this weekend is this month’s coffee morning, which will support WaterAid. It will be held at St. Chad’s Parish Centre in Uppermill and will take place on Saturday 3 March between 10am and 11.30am.
WaterAid is an international organisation with the mission of improving lives by providing safe water, hygiene and sanitation to the world’s poorest communities.
The entry fee will be £1 and includes coffee and cake, other goods will also be on sale. There will also be a raffle. For more information please visit www.saddleworthteam-cofe.org.uk
