Christmas Stress tips 2

People

  • Relatives who stress you out at every meeting, and those like this you feel a duty to attend!

* Do a mindset shift if you can’t escape to another room over the meal – try to see their viewpoint even if you don’t agree with their views

* Don’t take what they say personally – it’s about them, not you!

* They always get away with their attitude and you have to put up with it – distance yourself mentally (think of the food, share your jokes, find allies on positive topics to discuss instead!)

* Share your views, just don’t argue them.

* Tell them what you’ve been up to and leave it at that

“The deepest craving of human nature is the need to be appreciated” William James

“We find comfort among those who agree with us, and growth among those who don’t” Frank A. Clark
