Cycling Success For Saddleworth Riders

Riders from the Saddleworth Clarion Cycling Club filled the top three places in Thursday night’s inter-club race around the streets of Oldham, which preceded the professional Halfords Tour Series event.

Richard Tayles took first place, ahead of Mike Gradwell and Tim Mitchell. It was a great result for the club, which has only been going since last year, and welcomes members not only from Saddleworth, but from across Oldham, Tameside and Kirklees too.
