Diggle Blues Festival This Weekend

The Diggle Blues Festival takes place this weekend, with free concerts scheduled at four venues across the village on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It’s the second year of the event, which was inspired by the ongoing success of the Marsden Jazz Festival.

As for what’s on, the festival begins tomorrow night with a two-hour performance by Flock of 3 at the Hanging Gate, starting at 6:30pm. Later, Blues Train will be on at the Band Club at 9pm.

Shows continue throughout the afternoons and evenings on Saturday and Sunday, with Kilngreen Hall and the Diggle Hotel also serving as venues. There’s a total of ten performances across the weekend, and the times are staggered, so you can watch them all if you wish!

More information about the festival, including precise details of who is playing where and when, is available from its Facebook page here.
