First Aid for Dogs at Strinesdale!

Rachel Bean RVN, will be coming to RSPCA Oldham for a Canine First Aid Workshop!

The workshop is designed for pet dog owners and anyone involved in the pet dog business.

Rachel Bean RVN MCFBA is a qualified Veterinary Nurse  and has been in Veterinary Practice for 20 years, 6 of those years as a Head Nurse and qualified in 2002.
This length of time in frontline practice gives her the necessary experience in Emergency situations and how to deal with trauma, accidents and life threatening conditions. Her Canine First Aid Workshops have been running regularly now for a number of years and as my reputation grows is now the preferred tutor for many Canine related organisations. It is her view that tutors should have real experience of the below situations to be able to teach effectively.

The workshop will cover theory, practical bandaging on real dogs, CPR is demonstrated and each pupil has time to practice individually and ask any questions and  First Aid Scenario’s.

Rachel told Saddleworth News and Life : “There will be no power point! I run the groups with small numbers and real dogs.  A certificate of attendance is given at the end of the workshop and OCN accreditation is available at extra cost to those that wish to gain this qualification.”

Her next local course is on February 10th at the RSPCA Centre, Strinesdale, Oldham. Please email Rachel for a booking form: rachelbean@hotmail.co.uk or show your interest by visiting the event page here.
