Greater Manchester Police is currently experiencing technical problems with its telephone system.

Technicians are currently working to rectify the problem.

They are prioritising 999 calls to ensure our emergency service is unaffected.

GMP is asking the public to only call 999 in an emergency and to delay making any non-emergency calls until the issue is resolved and a further announcement is made.
