Greenfield Reading Group

Have you read anything recently that was so terrific you feel compelled to share it with others, or so terrible that you want to put them off wasting their time?

Greenfield Reading Group is a well-established group, meeting once a month in the library. They read a variety of genres including classics, crime, historical fiction and contemporary fiction.

They are looking for new members at their friendly and relaxed meetings, and say it’s a great way to meet new friends and discover books you never imagined you would enjoy.

A reading group member said: “It’s interesting to hear other people’s opinions about the books in a comfortable environment. The variety of titles ensures there is no predictability and there is no pressure to finish, making it enjoyable and not a compulsory task.”

For more information, please contact Suzanne Hudson on 0161 770 8010 or just turn up at the next meeting.

Meetings are first Monday of the month at 2-3pm at Greenfield Library.
