Guided off-road cycle ride in Saddleworth next week
RSF Off Road Cycling Club – Up to Harrop Edge
A Saddleworth cycling group have organised a ‘Saddleworth Circuit’ ride next week.
On Tuesday 13 October (and every second Tuesday of the month), is the ‘Saddleworth Circuit’ ride, this is an easy going guided off-road cycle ride of about 20 miles with members of the RSF – the oldest off-road cycling club in the world.
Interested people should meet at the Lime Kiln Cafe, Brownhill Visitor Centre, Wool Road, Dobcross from
9-30am for a 10-30am start.
Expect a few hills (but they all get off and walk sometimes) and a lunch stop in either a local pub or cafe.
They should be back around 4pm – just in time for a brew!
