Local Soprano Confirmed For Saddleworth Festival

Local soprano Debbie Oliver will be appearing along with the Saddleworth Male Voice Choir at next month’s Saddleworth Festival of the Arts.
Accompanied by Jonathan Fisher on the piano, Debbie will perform a variety of songs ranging from classical to cabaret. The programme is scheduled to include music by local composer William Walton, as well as Roger Quilter, Frank Bridge and Ralph Vaughan.

The Saddleworth Festival of the Arts takes place every four years. This year’s event runs between 4 and 12 June.
