Mossley Draw Last Match At Hurst Cross

Mossley drew 1-1 with Skelmersdale United last night. It was Mossley’s last match at Ashton United’s Hurst Cross ground, which they’ve used for midweek home games since the floodlights at Seel Park were declared unsafe earlier in the season.

Michael White gave the visitors a half-time lead, but Andy Russell headed an equaliser for Mossley with 15 minutes to play. There’s a report on the Mossley website here.

Mossley are 7th in the Unibond Division One North table, which you can see here. Their last game of the season is tomorrow against Rossendale United at Seel Park.

Meanwhile, in the Huddersfield and District League’s Richardson Cup Final, there was victory for Diggle Reserves. They beat Newsome WMC Reserves 2-0.
