Mossley Face FA Trophy Replay
Mossley were held to a draw by Kidsgrove Athletic in Saturday’s FA Trophy Preliminary Round tie at Seel Park. It finished 1-1, and Mossley will make the trip to Staffordshire for the replay tomorrow.
Mike Oates gave Mossley the lead early in the second half, only for Aidan Matranga to get the equaliser with a quarter of an hour to go. You can read a match report and see pictures at the Mossley website here.
In the Manchester League, Springhead also drew, 2-2 away to Royton Town. They’re 9th in the 16-team table, which you can see here.
There was disappointment for Diggle in Division 1 of the Huddersfield League, as they went down 2-0 at Shepley. They’re 6th in the table, one place behind Uppermill, who didn’t play on Saturday. There’s more at the league website here.
In rugby league, Saddleworth Rangers’ match away at Wath Brow Hornets was postponed because of the weather. However, all the other fixtures in the National Conference League Premier Division did take place, and you can see the updated table here.
