Rain Causes Long Delays On M62
Yesterday’s heavy rain caused long delays for motorists on the M62 near Saddleworth. Two lanes were blocked by flooding westbound between Junctions 21 and 22, and at one time the tailbacks stretched all the way to Junction 24.
There was also an accident on the westbound carriageway near Milnrow yesterday lunchtime, which added to the delays. Four people were taken to hospital.
