Mossley Make It Five
Mossley are into the top half of the Unibond Division One North table, following their fifth win in a row. They beat Ossett Albion 2-1 at Seel Park on Saturday, despite having to play most of the game with ten men.
Captain Graham Kay gave the home side an early lead, and Steve Moore could have made it 2-0 shortly after, but his penalty was saved. Kay was sent off before half-time for retaliating after a tackle, and Andy Brownrigg’s header brought the visitors level on 57 minutes. But once again Lee Blackshaw was Mossley’s match-winner, hitting home a Steve Settle cross to make it 2-1.
