New mums offered support with feeding their babies and more

Home Start’s Infant Feeding Team have been adapting to support Mums remotely during the pandemic, usually meeting face to face.

As well as free, expert telephone support being available to all Mums in Tameside and Oldham, 7 days a week, they have also started running remote support groups for New Mums in Tameside via Zoom.
Their friendly online group will provide information and is a chance to meet other local new Mums.

Denise Farrow, Home Start Infant Feeding Manager, told me; ” Mums will be able to ask questions about any aspect of feeding their baby, and get emotional and practical support.”
