Pet Networking Night

We all had a fabulous time at the 3rd Saddleworth Pet Networking Night on the 5th June. It was a chance for pet care businesses to network and put faces to names, and for pet owners to meet the various local pet care businesses and make valuable contacts.

We had a talk about acupuncture for pets from local mobile vet Katja Londa from Pets Relaxed, and an acupuncture demonstration (with volunteer Betsy, a very friendly and patient 6 year old Labrador from Delph), and a dog CPR demonstration and an interactive quiz with veterinary nurse Rachel Bean.

Entry included a glass of Prosecco and nibbles, and all proceeds went to the charity StreetPaws, who look after the dogs of homeless people all over the north of the country- we raised a whopping £328,70!

Here’s what some of the attendees said: ’Great night’, ‘Thanks for another great evening’, ‘Thank you for a really informative evening’, ‘Fantastic night tonight!!! Met some lovely people, old friends and made a few new business contacts. It’s great we can have nights like this and support each other.’

We are holding Saddleworth Pet Networking Nights 2-3 times a year- watch out for the next one!
