Rain To Clear Away By Middle Of The Week

A canal boat in the sunshine on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal last week. The good weather should be back by Wednesday.

The wet conditions of the weekend will continue today and tomorrow, but forecasters are predicting a notable improvement on Wednesday.

Showers, some of them heavy, will be the story of the rest of today, although temperatures should stay fairly mild at about 17C.

Tuesday’s likely to be more of the same, although the showers may become lighter and less frequent as the day goes on.

The sun returns on Wednesday and Thursday though, with temperatures reaching 19C.

You can get a fuller forecast from the Met Office website here.
