Saddleworth Basks In Spring Sunshine

A sunny Monday morning in Saddleworth. (picture: Paul Steele)

It was a beautiful Monday morning here in Saddleworth today, as warm, spring-like sunshine made for a lovely start to the week. Temperatures reached a mild 11C. While out walking, Paul Steele from Diggle captured the scene from high ground, and posted the image on his Twitter account.

The forecast for the rest of the week is for more clear and sunny spells, but with outbreaks of rain too, particularly on Thursday. You can read more here.

Paul is currently making preparations for an epic charity trek to the South Pole later this year. To find out more and make a donation, visit his South Pole Challenge website here. You can also follow him on Twitter here.
