Saddleworth Civic Trust and Historical Society events
Saddleworth Civic Trust will be holding an illustrated presentation by Mike Buckley on Thursday 10 October, this is entitled ‘Character Appraisal of Ladhill Lane Conservation Area, Greenfield’ and starts at 7.30pm.
On Sunday 3 November from 10.00am-4.00pm at the Civic Hall, Uppermill, Saddleworth Civic Trust is holding a flea market. Admission will be Adults 50p, Concessions 30p. There will be up to 40 stalls with Refreshments all day. A few stalls are still available and to book contact Charles Baumann on 01457 876858.
Saddleworth Historical Society will also host a presentation at the Saddleworth Museum Gallery, Uppermill on Thursday 17 October at 7.30pm. This will be an Illustrated Presentation by Ian Moss, of the Pennine Railway & Canal Society entitled ‘The History of Trans-Pennine Railways’ all are welcome with free entry.
