  • George says:

Sadly all too typical response from the police.

    Blame the victims.

No police, Catch the scum and lock them up. They won’t be able to steal from us when they are in prison.

Or is that even too obvious even for the police?

  • Ian says:

Better to not leave valuables on show to steal in the first place?

I didn’t follow that advice and my sat nav was stolen. The police DID catch the person responsible AND he spent time in prison for it.

    George

how simple. Why didn’t everyone else think of that? Then again, common sense and taking responsibility are so difficult.

  • Geoff at Greenfield says:

Tell you what George, don’t bother with the police advice just leave your sat nav and any valuables, especially a hefty wad of bank notes, on show in your car. And while you’re at it, leave your car unlocked and better still leave your house unlocked and the windows open when it is unoccupied. Then of course after the inevitable happens blame the police for their typical response of not having an officer on every street corner and every car park throughout Oldham 24 hours a day.
