Staying Chilly With Some Rain

We may be into May but the chilly weather of the weekend is going to stick with us over the next few days, with showers forecast and even the chance of overnight frost.

Today will be the coldest day of all, overcast with the odd bit of rain, and with temperatures struggling to get much above 7C. Tonight those temperatures could almost get down to freezing in places.

Tuesday starts cloudy once again and there’ll be some rain around during the morning, although the odd sunny interval is predicted later in the day. Top temperatures should be 11C.

The weather improves slightly for Wednesday and Thursday, with those sunny spells becoming more frequent and the temperatures rising towards the low teens. But it’ll remain mostly overcast, with brighter, sunnier weather not forecast to return until the end of the week, and the weekend.
