Tickets On Sale For Charity Brass Band Concert
Tickets have gone on general sale for the charity brass band concert in aid of Help For Heroes, which will take place at the Civic Hall in Uppermill on Saturday 3 July. They cost £10 each.
Helen Frost is organising the concert following the death of her cousin, Corporal James Oakland, in Afghanistan last October. You can get tickets at the Albion Farm Shop and the Post Office in Delph, The Granby pub and the Post Office in Uppermill, and Jolly Jodh’s Equestrian Supplies at Wharf Mill in Diggle.
Helen has revealed she’s now fully recruited the band of volunteers who will be performing on the night. But she’s asking for music requests, saying, “This is your concert and you control the music!” You can make suggestions, and get more details about the event, at its Facebook page here.
