Two Charged After Greenfield Burglary Arrests
Two men have been charged with going equipped for theft, after they were arrested in Greenfield.
They were detained when officers stopped a car on Manchester Road in the early hours of Tuesday. According to a police statement, a “number of items” were recovered.
Mark Stansfield, who’s 40 and from Rochdale, and 45-year-old Richard Carr of Smallbridge, were due to appear before magistrates in Oldham.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident, our local police have also updated us about an incident in Grotton yesterday.
Four men, all dressed in dark clothing, were disturbed in a back garden. It’s thought they might have been about to break into a shed. Officers are urging local residents to remain vigilant.
