Greenfield’s Street Scene asks for help…
Please help to keep our village beautiful and clean. Why not set your own litter-pick activity? It’s outdoors, light exercise and can be fun and very satisfying.
Throughout each of the past eleven years Street Scene Greenfield Group and our volunteers have undertaken regular litter-pick events around our lovely village. The current situation has prevented these organised events throughout 2020.
We ask that residents and visitors undertake to take their litter home; this includes poo bags, of which many have been discarded along the canal towpath. Throwing them over fences or behind bushes is dangerous to health, is not acting responsibly nor setting a good example.
SSGG wish to thank all those who already pick up litter and take their litter home.
