Scrubs Hub getting their sewing machines whirring for the NHS

A local group of enthusiastic seamsters have come together on Social Media to support the national initiative For the Love Of Scrubs.

They are a network of over 200 seamstresses from Bury, Oldham and Rochdale, creating emergency scrubs for our local hospitals who are running short of essential scrubs. They have a nominated liaison with the hospitals and community teams in order to ensure we create and supply what is urgently needed.

They are making scrubs, headbands, scrubags and scrubs accessories and Government guidelines and social distancing respected.

The group wishes to buy more fabric and accessories and are wanting some support to help buy it. They are aiming to get fabric wholesale as the suppliers are being inundated with asks for donations. If you wish to and can help please go to their GoFundMe page: Scrubs Hub Donations

Members of the NHS can contact the group and they will add your request to their list of makes. Their contact details can be found here – Scrubs Hub
