Delph And Dobcross Thrash Slaithwaite To Stay Top

Delph and Dobcross enjoyed another comprehensive victory on Saturday, to maintain their position at the top of cricket’s Huddersfield League.

Following his eight wickets against Shepley a week earlier, professional Bilal Khiljee turned in another impressive performance, taking 6/22 from 11 overs as the home side were bowled out for just 69. Adnan Ghaus weighed in with 4/45.

Despite losing both openers early in their reply, D&D knocked off the runs inside ten overs, with Faisal Butt hitting 28 not out from 24 balls.
